Chalk Dance Theater is a collaborative performance ensemble. Founded by theater artist Anne Marie Nest and choreographer/dancer Kristin Marrs, we co-create and perform original works through the body and voice. Our work is grounded in embodied story-telling and personal narrative. “Chalk” references and celebrates the possibility for creativity and complexity to emerge from simple tools and celebrates the ephemeral nature of live performance.
